The Department of Sociology and the Center for Population Research (CPR) are pleased to announce their joint organization of a seminar entitled “Hypergamy or Hypogamy: Marriage Matchmaking in Rural and Urban China.” The seminar is scheduled for December 4, 2023 (Monday), from 02:30 to 04:00 p.m. (Hong Kong Time), in Room 422, 4/F, Sino Building, CUHK. Honorable speaker, Prof. C. Cindy Fan from UCLA, will deliver the seminar. Please note that this seminar will be conducted in face-to-face mode only, and no Zoom link will be provided.
