Introduction:
Ting Ting Lee is a graduate of the Sociology Department at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). With a strong interest in applying social science methodologies to develop sustainable solutions for businesses, Ting Ting began her career as a Research Executive (Quantitative) at Ipsos in Hong Kong. She then served as a Research Analyst at GlobeScan, a global insights and strategy consultancy dedicated to promoting a sustainable and equitable future. Currently, Ting Ting is an Associate Account Manager at Kantar Group Ltd., an international market research company based in London.

The Talk:
The talk will cover several key areas, including a reflection on how a social science graduate background can transition into a career focused on promoting sustainability. It will also examine how business consulting firms support organizations in achieving sustainable solutions. Topics covered will include Corporate Sustainability Reporting and double materiality assessments, as well as demand reduction campaigns, benchmarking, and tracking studies. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the practical applications of social science disciplines, particularly sociology, in pursuing a career in business and think tanks aimed at fostering a sustainable future.
