Our student, Vivian Mok, joined in the CUHK CO-op programme 2022-2023 as a second cohort student and had successfully completed the Co-op placement in the Hong Kong Jockey Club (as a Co-op Placement Trainee (Charities & Community)) in December 2023.
The following is her testimonial:
“Nowadays, corporate expect student to be more than just a fresh graduate when they enter job market, therefore, gaining real job experience is vital. Not only polishing our resume, but also allow us to gain personal development. The CUHK co-op placement programme allows students to work in a company for more than 6 months, providing sufficient time for us to explore the company culture, and real-life work setting. Unlike typical internship, we were given longer period of time to explore the job, and to learn while being fully paid. We were also supported by the co-op team throughout the whole journey, so someone is always there for you as long as you reach out to them. Overall speaking, co-op placement programme not only provide us with job opportunities, but also a journey of personal and professional growth.”
