Wang Peng received a doctoral degree in sociology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2022. Prior to studying at CUHK, he received a bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Sociology from Renmin University of China. His research mainly focuses on technical change and inequality, social attitudes and values, social mobility and its implications. His doctoral dissertation studied the trends in intergenerational mobility during the transition to the third industrial revolution in the United States and China.
